The Windows build is a native 64-bit desktop release developed in C++ using the Simple and Fast Multimedia Library (SFML). It is designed as a complete standalone Carrom experience for Windows 10 and Windows 11, with the game, required assets, gameplay systems, physics simulation, artificial intelligence, and local multiplayer functionality included in the release package.

Carrom Sharp uses a physics-based gameplay system to simulate the movement and interaction of the striker and carrom pieces across the board. Shot behavior is determined by factors such as direction, force, collisions, friction, and other configurable physics parameters. This allows players to approach each shot as a physics problem rather than relying on purely predefined movement or animation.

The release includes a built-in AI opponent for single-player matches, providing an automated opponent when playing alone. Local multiplayer is also supported, including 1v1 and 2v2 match formats for players sharing the same device. The game is designed to keep the core rules and physical behavior consistent across these different play modes.

One of the main features of Carrom Sharp is its adjustable physics system. Players can experiment with different physics parameters and observe how changes affect the behavior of shots, collisions, and pieces on the board. This gives the game an additional experimental aspect, allowing players to explore and tune the underlying physical behavior instead of treating the physics system as a fixed black box.

The Windows release is available in two distributions. The MSI installer provides a conventional Windows installation process, while the ZIP distribution can be extracted and launched directly without using an installer. Both distributions contain the Windows x64 release of Carrom Sharp and are intended for 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems.
